🎶 Ohio Township’s Free Music & Movies in the Park Series is Back! 🎬
Gather your family, grab your friends, pack your favorite drinks (BYOB), and bring a blanket or lawn chair for an unforgettable summer evening at Ohio Township Community Park!
Evening Lineup:
Live Music by Steel City Calypso
6:30 PM – 8:30 PM | Herbola Pavilion (next to the Nature Center)
Steel City Calypso is Pittsburgh’s premier steel drum-based, Afro-Caribbean band. Their performances include everything from traditional Calypso music from the island of Trinidad along with music from other parts of the Caribbean and Brazil to good old American Funk and Jazz.
Movie: A Minecraft Movie
Starts at dusk (approx. 8:30 PM – 9:15 PM) | Behind the Nature Center
Stick around after the concert for a magical movie night the whole family will love. About A Minecraft Movie: Four misfits are suddenly pulled through a mysterious portal into a bizarre, cubic wonderland that thrives on imagination. To get back home, they'll have to master this world while embarking on a quest with an unexpected, expert crafter.
Snacks & Treats:
Free popcorn and snow cones will be served on the Nature Center’s back patio until 9:30 PM... just follow the delicious smells!
Come Hungry!
The Vitalia Wood Fired Oven Food Truck will be on-site in the Nature Center parking lot serving up delicious food, so be sure to arrive with an appetite!
Fun for Everyone:
Enjoy lawn games near the Nature Center while you take in the music and mingle with neighbors.
Climbing Wall:
Challenge yourself on the climbing wall, open from 6:00 – 8:30 PM!
